THOSE WHO ONLY THINK OF COTTON CANDY WITH STRAWBERRY TASTE WHEN HEARING COTTON CANDY WILL MISS OUT ON A “MAGIC” MOMENT THAT CAN SO EFFORTLESSLY BE CONJURED UP WITH COTTON CANDY. WE WOULD LIKE TO PRESENT THIS MAGIC MOMENT IN THE FORM OF A PINK AND SPARKLING COCKTAIL WHICH COULD EASILY PASS FOR AN ART WORK OF DAVID COPPERFIELD. THIS MIXED DRINK OFFERS – WOMEN IN PARTICULAR –A FRESH AND SWEET FLAVOR THAT WILL BE A GREAT EYE OPENER.
The best about it is: Thanks to the innovative zzysh® champagne bottle stopper you can mix a new cocktail every time you feel like it without losing any of the bubbly carbon acid –be it only by yourself, or together with your friends, or at the next party with them! Open it – mix it – zzysh® it – enjoy it!
Ingredients (measures for 1 cocktail)
– 1 big strawberry
– 1/8 cup of strawberry syrup
– ice cube
– 1/8 cup of lime juice
– 1/5 cup of vodka pink
– 1 wad or ball of pink colored cotton candy
– A bit of edible gold (gold powder or gold leaf)
– 1 bottle of champagne or sparkling wine of choice (in the video: Café de Paris)
Cut the strawberry into small squares and put them in your glass of choice. We have opted for a big round bodied Beaujolais whine glass which sets the lady cocktail into the right scene.
Add strawberry syrup to the strawberry squares and fill the glass up to the top with ice cubes.
Cut the lime into two halves and press out the juice. This should amount to about 1/8 cup of juice. Pour the lime juice and pink vodka into the glass.
Then, place the big ball or wad of cotton candy on top of the glass and sprinkle a bit of gold dust over it.
Here comes the magic moment: In front of your guests, slowly top up your glass with champagne and watch how the cotton candy dissolves in no time at all. The small strawberry squares resurface in the frothy liquid and the golden dust twinkles and sparks. We are sure that your guests will want to have more than just one of these magical pink cocktails from you. So, it is just as well that you can tightly seal your champagne at any time with the stoppers from zzysh®. Only this way, you make sure the cocktail can be prepared without loss of flavor or bubbles – even from already opened bottles.
Our tip on the side for you:
To make this summer cocktail design perfect you can add sugar-pink glass rimming. Dip the rim of your empty glass upside down into the strawberry syrup and then dip it into white sugar. And, voilà! Here, we have a perfectly pink ladylike glass rim.
